Volcanoes; Originally called Hunap´┐Ż, the Agua (or Water) Volcano received its name from the mud slide which buried what is today Ciudad Vieja in the 16th Century. Agua is located south of Antigua, which can be seen from the top at 12,478 feet above sea level. The climb starts in the nearby town of Santa Maria de Jesus and takes about five hours.
